Packard A or Packard B?

Decisions, decisions. I shot this in RAW, and I'm getting caught up in the details, so to speak. "A" is my first version (but it uploaded as the last shot), then I went back and tweaked it so that there is more detail in the shadow below the hood mascot (first shot in post.) I can't decide which is better. That's where you all come in! Thanks for looking!

Be aware that the images do NOT always show in the same order on everyones screen.

My fav is the first because that is the one where I see more detail.

I'm actually seeing more shadow detail in the second and, consequently, like that one better.

I like them both but I like the shadows in the first photo best. makes it more interesting.

The first one is a stronger image for me. I think the highlights are a little more under control ...

Seeing them side by side I think I prefer the original dark one as there is more mood and punch. i don't think any detail is needed in the shadow of the ornament.

i'm with Gary. I got with the 1st one. I don't like the detail in the shadows in the 2nd shot. it loses emphasis. too many competing elements in the 2nd shot.

for that reason. i go with 1.

I prefer the one with the better lit subject (the bottom image). It just provides more information, a good thing when it's the subject. This is a crazy picture! It's really hard for me to figure it out ... aooww!
