    P-51 Mustang

I shot this one around 10am in the summer. I purposefully shot it underexposed to make it appear more like an evening/early morning shot. Doing so also darkened the area underneath the plane which hides some distracting items there.

I have another similar shot that hides the hills in the background but it appeared too static. This one makes it reminiscent of those that took off from England in 1944/45. (there are hills in England, yes?)

Loupey...I love this one. You made the right choice here. Maybe a little more of the plane would have been nice, but by the same token, it might not have had the dramatic look. Excellent.

Well it worked! My first thought was "this needs more light". With your explanation, it makes sense, and you definitely gave it the look you were after.

I as well like the darkened look. Those are actually one of my favorite planes from WWII. I also like the contrast that between the shiny metal on the plane and the underside of the plane, it really makes the body stand out.
