Overprocessed?

Out of these 2 which one do you like better? I took the photo but forgot to add my name on the first one because I uploaded it a while ago.

Agree. Second is a wee bit too saturated and over-sharpened, but the first is a bit flat and soft, so somewhere in between should be just right.

Thanks! For the last one I started over with the raw file and mostly played with exposure settings, noise reduction, and a little burning. For this show the only one I like in B&W is this one here. Maybe crop the bottom a little more? Not sure.

Also... On the orig shot what do you think of the blury finger on his shoulder on the left of the image? Should it stay?

One more... When doing these 'big' event these days the light system usually uses a combonation of different types of lights so its tricky to get the white balance right on the artist. Could any change in WB help the image?
