Overlooked image from Red Bull Rampage...
I happen to look at the slides I took at the Red Bull Rampage, back in October and came across this one, that didn't quite see before.
    Rider is Joe Schwartz.
    What are your thoughts?
    Thanks as always!

    Brian,
Nice!, I'd crop it on the left to get rid of the guy in the lower left corner and uncenter the rider, that's it. Nice sky and good subject separation from the BG.

I love the blue, and the bike, but for some reason the blurry background bugs me. I actually like the guy that is hidden in the corner, but I like little things like that.

I like it. I really like the moment you caught him in, and I like that there arent tons of spectators all around. Very cool. I really like that one on mtbr you took of richie schley doing a one hander, with the rock falling below him, thats crazy.

    Brian-
I'm pretty much in agreement with Alan. I think he's too centered and I'd crop the left just to follow the stupid "Rule of Thirds". I say, "stupid", because I feel like I'm always bringing it up. But it works, damnit!

I'd also do a little color correction. Overallit looks pretty blue to me. Add some yellow to make it a little warmer and more lively.

The only other criticism I have is that I wish there was a little more space below the rider. I'm guessing he's pretty high above the landing, and I'd like to see a little more air below him to show how high he is. I guess that since you've included so much landscape, I feel like we need to see some below. Maybe you could just crop way tighter. It's like it's in between a landscape photo and a tight jump photo. Anyway, I think you could play with the crop more and maybe find something better.

In the end, this is a really nice photo. Your exposure and timing couldn't have been better. It's just a matter of squeezing the most out of what you have at this point.

I so wished I had a darkroom! This digital darkroom color correction is getting to me!
I even tried the channel miser with this one!
    I'll do something with it.
    Thanks for looking guys!
