From/Over the top
I'm trying to learn how to shoot subjects from slightly different perspectives and came across these two. I wasn't as pleased right out of the camera, but I think they're more interesting with a little PP work.
Since this is a learning exercise, I'd love your comments either for or against.
Thanks,
PC

Re: From/Over the top
PC, did you 'equalize' the bottom shot? It looks sort of like some kind of filter was applied here. As for the top shot, it just seems too busy. Everything's going every which way. Hope this helps?

Re: From/Over the top
John,
Thanks for commenting. Yes, I was playing around with some different effects on the bottom one. I just felt it was too plain as it was so I tried some Lomo effects I found online. Maybe I should have left well enough alone, huh? :p The first one is indeed busy, but I was thinking that all the lines leading toward the center were interesting.
The comments do help. Like everyone else, I'm trying to get better and learning to recognize the clunkers is as important as the gems - for me at least.
Thanks,
PC
