Tuna - The expressions of the older woman and the younger one on the right make the shot. Too bad there's so much bland space there in the lower middle area,... You can't crop it out because that would clip off the right side woman's legs.

Thank you G. So, are you suggesting that, if we could afford to lose the lower part of the woman on the right, that you would have cropped this as a panoramic - losing the yellow side and wheel of the bus?

Well, probably... hard to say w/o trying it. Looking at it again, part of the shot's allure is the way the size of the machine (bus) dwarfs the human occupants and makes them look vulnerable, small, etc. There's also some interesting geometry there in the wheel and the yellow side. It just seems so blank though, so bright.. I sort of wish there was some logo to break it up.

    My opinion, anyways

    I like this as is.

Everyone in the bus seems isolated from the other.

    Powerful.

Nice shot Tuna. The expressions of the two ladies is priceless. Well done as always. I can't say anything needs improved.

I think the wheel is necessary and the height necesessary for scale. the ole ladys facial expression is..bordering on senility..extreme worry? The young lady just seems to be exposed to the world.
Please ask to edit photos and I'll do the same!
    Thx, Rod

This is just plain wonderful. I love the finish on the faces--perfect processing.

It has a Norman Rockwell quality... just an everyday sight, but you are drawn to it and want to know more about the subjects.

I like the bus on the bottom of the frame just fine, if I was going to crop it would be to remove the yellow part of bus at the top of the frame.

I can't help feeling that the dodging of the faces in the bus is not quite blended well enough although the people and their expressions are killer here.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Agreed. I had cropped it but then left it for additional "framing" - however it isn't necessary and the composition appears stronger without the yellow at top - in fact I have made the print without the top part and it looks good...
