    Oldies but goodies--thoughts?
Back in 1998, the local Air Museum had a weekend mini-air show, and I went out with my Minolta Maxxum 3000. I recently scanned some of the negatives on my Photosmart S20 (which is causing major banding), so I had to go to my editing software and make some adjustments. What do you think? Do I need to do more work?

I like both of them John. Especially the 1st one. IMO the angle is just right for this
kind of shot. I wish you zoomed out a bit though and gave room to your subject.
Right now it's encompassing the whole frame.

The 2nd one is quite good too with the perspective of the planes getting smaller as
they get further. Again, the same exact shot with more of the surroundings would've
    improved on this IMO.

    Good work.

    Goodies Indeed,

John these are quite good. I really liked the first one until I saw the pano crop. I think that it does a good job of saying "Airshow" and the perspective of them all lined up together is very cool. I might suggest for the 2nd a black and white or sepia conversion to make it look like an older image and they are lining up for flight but that's just an idea.

    Regards,

Liban---the originals were cropped down. I know where you're coming from, though.:)

CL--thanks for the suggestion. I might repost that pic in b&w or sepia.

Swm, IMO, if you convert that 2nd photo to B&W using filtered b&w in pacasa using the green channel, and then convert to sepia, then desaturate a bit, it would look really good. Planes are always great, we have a museum around here, with tons in the "graveyard", and more inside, love to visit it.

    That is totally AWESOME JOHN!
Print it and ask everyone you know how old they think it is!
    Great work! :D
