    Old Buildings circa 1700s

Here are a few shots of old churches/plantations and their surroundings that I shot yesterday, I'm in a B&W mode and I'd appreciate any recommendations for improvement.

    Bajan...
I know you said you're in a b/w mood... but your images scream for color! Your compositions are all very very ineterseting and captivating- I think color would add to the age factor of these buildings.
Were these shot in midday light (harsh light?)?
My nitpicks- the fourth is a little tilted but definitely my favorite of these shots, the second has a distracting pole (?) on the right.

    Nice shots!

Thanks, it was a rushed shoot because I only had one hour there, but I'm going to go back w/o the group and take some more shots and this time in color. Many thanks for the heads up. I'm also going to develop some film shots and may scan them when I purchase a film scanner I'm currently checking types available. All shots were taken in the Morning sun, say probably about 0900.

I agree with Villenadecorte that these are not strong compositions for b&w but might do much better in color. I also like the 4th one best as it is an interesting scene, especially with the person standing down the road. Try to avoid including someones arm? i the scene (right side) and try to include the very top corner of the building.

    Update: Old Buildings circa 1700s

Hi, I revisited one of the locations, as was suggested, and shot a few in color, here are a couple.
