Shadow!
I like the shot and the composition! I know it is not possible to control the sun and shadows but a shot with no shadow would be awesome. I think it wouold make a good B&W pic too...of course I am bias.....maybe you could go back whenthe sun i sat a different angle.
Anyay..good shot!

But I like shadows...
Maybe I'm just a dark kind of guy, but I like the shadows. They help convey a mood and, IMHO, create interest. Maybe I'd change my mind if I did see a shadowless shot, but still... I like the composition of both shots. You seem to have a good eye for that.

Completes the Series
Does this add to the series?

like the last one most
the colors in this sign are wonderful! personally, i like that the focal point is on the "os" of the word "post", and the other letters get slightly out of focus... that adds to the feel for me.
might look cool as a b&w too... have you tried that?

You may be right. I'll take a look at B&W and see if it has the same impact.

I like all of these. The only thing I can say is that the shadow of the lamp post on the red door is bothersome. I want to see the whole red door and that shadow is in the way, imo. I do like the shadow play on the post office shot

the shadow in the post office door photo is very complimentary. nice shot!

I like the first pic, very very nice. Shadow works very softly there ( I love working with shadow )
Very nice wood texture also!
