    Seb,

Great shot. It almost looks surreal, and without the title, it would take me a while to figure out what it is. I love the color contrast and the composition is great with the flower in the far corner. Great shot Seb.

the tilt really throws me off, but not in a bad way. you couldn't have any less tilt unless it was leveled. but it holds my interest very well.

Re: Off series: glowing water lily

I think that there might be a little too much space up top. It's all debatable, even within me. The tones and colours are perfect though to my perception. The lilly is white but still exposed very well, while the rest is as well.

So, the only issue for me is the crop. Whether to have it as it or going with a horizontal crop with just the bottom third of the photo. The challenge is of coarse that won't be as big as this when printed.

Even though with a crop the lilly would stand out a lot more than right now, I still like the darks of the pond up top. That's why I said everything is debatable. I can't seem to come to a concesus at all.

    very good shot nevertheless.

I love the tilted angle, and where you placed the flower.

This is stunning, it is a work of art. The colors, the composition....it inspires me to
start painting again. Again, I love the movement and flow. Don't change anything.

Jared: It's good to see you back there. Thanks for commenting.

Dylan: I am not sure what you mean here but it mostly sounds like you appreciate it so thanks lol... Seriously, the tilt was delibarate, I wanted to add some tension.

Leels: Thanks. I see what you mean. Actually, I never thought about going horizontal and filling the frame at the first place. I now see that it could works nicely.

Greg: Thanks for the good words.

KyRain: Well you just made my day. I can't/don't paint but that is something I wish I could have painted. I feel that this is one of those scene where a painting would allow to push things further. Thanks.

    Dbutler: Thanks a lot!

Seb - I like the shot, seems really different. I personally dont mind the tilt and it might even add something here. The only part I wish was more in the frame is the leaves in the top/right side.. They look nice and it would have balanced the shot a little more if more of them were in there. But maybe it would have competed for attention with the white flower (who knows?).
