    NYC--Cross Process Digital (I'm back!)
Well... I haven't been on the forum for a while. I was in NYC a few weeks ago and snapped this (on a P&S not my D80 unfortunately) and decided it made a great candidate for a photoshop work. I first used Alien-Skin Exposure 2 to give it a velvia colour tone and grain. Then, I ran the photo through a warming filter and played with the levels a bit. Lastly, I ran the photo through Exposure 2's Lomo-Kodak cross-process profile and tweaked the colour cast a bit. Frankly, it's not the best picture out there (i.e. noise and slight halos) but I kinda like it :D.

I like how busy it looks. It keeps my eye wondering around. I do see noise in the sky. Maybe from the processing? Nice work. It's a great street shot.

Yup the noise is from the processing. This is a Nikon P&S we are talking about so after lightening the shadows, the sensor noise is dramatically revealed. I kinda think it doesn't hurt the picture too much though.
