    Chrome Abstract

Here's a little diversion for me, shot on B/W film ASA 400 on my old K1000 with a fish eye lens.

    Comments and critique welcome.

    Re: Chrome Abstract

    What is this chrome on?

Its pretty good but I have a few problems with it.
If you want it to be really good, I think you'll need to use some chrome polish and general cleaning on it first.
The reflection of a tv antenna just doesn't fit.
    Good concept but needs work.
    Keep Shooting!

I agree with Frog. The chrome needs to be spotless and make sure you have a reflection that is flattering with no distractions.

    Re: Chrome Abstract

Interesting points you've brought up guys thanks for your critiques.

This is an outdoor chrome sculpture and I believe in the found photo, especially when I'm using film. I'm hardly going to walk through life polishing everything I find interesting to photograph before I sit down and take the photo, but then again maybe I should, if only in the interest of leaving things better than I found them. I could clone/dodge out the satellite dish at the bottom but that also goes against my "found" feeling as well. I suppose that particular element is taking away from the "abstract" quality of the shot so I'll have to think about it.

    Good food for thought.
