both are really great. first is my favorite, although, i would like it better without the other picture put in, i think its strong enough without. it's dark, but it sets a nice mood and puts your eye to the subject.

I agree with flyer, both are great and the first one does not benefit from having the layered image of the couple in the sky. It detracts from what is already a fine photo.
    Great stuff

The first image is too small for me to see the expression on the womans face in the main image. Assuming she has a tender expression I agree with the others that the overlaid second image detracts rather than adds to the overall.

I like your second image a lot too, I think it is a really good shot of her and I like the lighting but think the overall white balance is a little too cold.

    Pretty good stuff.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: nite shooting

You guys are right. I can only remember one freelance design job I've had in the past year where the client actually liked what I came up with without major changes. Most of the time I'll come up with some logo icon (or 5 or 6) only to have the final design be either their name or initials in a fancy font.:mad2:

Those who aren't designers or photographers have a completely different idea about composition and it's not often a good thing. Most of the time we just do what is asked and watch our sense of design fly out the window.

As long as they are happy, I guess it's gravy.

J - They're well done. I might have used a little less illumination on the people here than you did, but this is a matter of personal taste/preference. Interesting how everyone chose for them to wear black, really blends into the background.
