Gulls on the remaining ice of a large drainage pond.

do you have any larger views? They look like good shots, good depth and color, but the reflections and harsh light do weird things at small size.

Some potential, but seems like everything is too far away. nice color of the water though..

Thanks for looking. I used the 380 mm equiv. length of my zoom. Couldn't get any closer. The sun was very bright. Thanks for the comments.

You didn't try bread Seriously, if you want close-ups of gulls.... bring some bread.

The distance and lighting really worked against you. If you are able to get closer, try kneeling down so you are at an eye-level with the gulls (assuming they are on the ground). Animals rarely look good when they are shot from high above.
