Following on from my post last week, not so many night shots below but this is a few of the new images.

    Any comments would be great!

    Many thanks

    Re: Night villa revisted

I like 'em all Herriot. Especially the 1st two.

1: great ambiance and mood here and well composed tough the tree on the left kinda gets in the way. I also like the shadow play here.

2: Probably my favourite out of this batch. I like the angles, vibrant colours and the white furniture IMO give this shot a bit of a boost.

3: Here I wish the buddha wasn't so dark. How did you shoot this? were you in the water? Cause that's what it seems like.

4: Another nice one. You should take one like this at night. I think you had it in your first thread but that was a bit too blurry. There's a spot that is way over exposed here right in the top centre which in turn under exposed the left side of this shot.

    Over all very good.

Love the place as well. Does your friend live there or does he rent it out?

    Re: Night villa revisted

Thanks for your comments Leels, greatly appreciated as always!

I also like the second picture the most and have a few ideas how it could be tidied up before publishing.

You are right, on the third picture I was in the water, wide aperture, agree that the buddah doesn't really work, I have tried this with my Holga a few times as well and I just can't seem to get it the way I want it, the dark water works best for me in this shot.

The villa is for rent yes, well it will be, once the images are ready!!

    Many thanks again

Beautiful shots. I really like the light in the water on the third shots and think it could work well with perspective correction and cropping the extra stone from the right and left edges.

Great shots. Definately looks like some stock photos for the Villa. The colors are great, and the water reflection is very well done. Nice shooting,

FWIW, I like all, but the bottom one is just a little too dark on one side, and light on the other....setting sun had much to do with it I'm sure. JMHO.
