Night Hut

I had this pic in colour but it wasn't doing it for me. let me know what you think of it in B&W. The conversion also introduces some grain up top.

Re: Night Hut
Wonderful Liban, maybe clone the bright light in the middle. This is also a great choice for B&W. Dude you have a tall tripod.LOL

Hah, didn't notice the tripod before reading this.
Excellent shot! I can feel the cold wind and everything is bright enough.

Re: Night Hut
nice photo,
I wish the bright lights around the middle weren't there

Re: Night Hut
Great shot. Nice and moody with deep long shadows. For some reason the lights don't bother me. though I suppose they should be toned down a bit.

Re: Night Hut
I would maybe shop out your shadow. And possibly the tripod shadow, though I personally actually like it.

Re: Night Hut
I think the tripod and your shadow add interest into what otherwise would be vacant space. Cool shot.

Re: Night Hut
I swear, I had a long response in here that must have got deleted when the servers crashed the other day..... I also lost posts in other pics i posted on.
Greg, thanks. Yeah the tripod looks like a giant. haha
Tarum, Thank you.
Armando, thanks, gotta see what i can do witih that light.
Arne, thanks
Anbeso, thanks, yeah, I'll see if a shot without the shadows will work better.
Pete, thanks

Re: Night Hut
Wow, really nice !
This is almost a classic. I want those right side lines/whatever outta there (may be worth a PS job). The sky is excellent though I wonder if it's necessary. A plain, star lit sky may have been more appropriate (and romantic, as this shot seems to lean that way). The blurry clouded sky is still good, but I wonder if it belongs on another subject?
The lack of people works here, but it would also be a very strong shot with a girl and boy (woman and man) sitting on the steps or on the sand.

Re: Night Hut
GB, thanks for the suggestions. yeah a person there would've helped. I tried a self portrait and i suck at the lighting (still). That's gonna be my next photography challenge to overcome. Thanks! :)
