any tips or suggestions guys?

Re: A Night Of Fire
I wish the hands were sharp and the background didn't have that light line in the center top.
However I do like the sparks-a lot.
Nice one.

Re: A Night Of Fire
rylans,
This image has much potential, you have some interesting subject matter, and a decent composition, however, there are a couple things that distract the viewer from this.
First, the texture in the background of the dropcloth is distracting. This can simply be fixed by increasing contrast, which also gives some better tones. Also, your composition is already decent, but if you chop that little bit of space off the top and a little bit off the left, then it's even tighter.
Would you mind if I posted an edited version of this to show you exactly what I'm talking about?
Nice picture though. :)

Re: A Night Of Fire
You can also clone out that vertical light in the background.
Nice shot though.

Re: A Night Of Fire
I really like the hands in this photo. They really add to the shot, esp the closer one being so sharp. The only part that I think might not benefit the image is the strange light in the upper center part of the shot above the sparklers. I think you could clone that out. Nice work

Re: A Night Of Fire
it makes the sparks stand out alot better! thanks, and what program did you use to edit?

Re: A Night Of Fire
Adobe Photoshop, it was quite simple, just upped the contrast a bit, the sharpness just a tad bit, and the crop. All things you'll be able to do with light room, good luck to you!
