to nice to stay in
well the weather changes so much , Yesterday it sleeted today was the 50's and tomorrow they call for snow so I took advantage to see how my camera does outside in nice weather. The funny part it took e about a hour to get these shots and walked around my muddy yard, everytime I get a good pose the cat would come up to me.
Also how do you guys make those nice borders with your signature in the photos?

Re: to nice to stay in
You have a really photogenic cat there... I like the rustic look and the overall sharpness of your pictures. That lens/camera combo really works well, whatever it is.
The pix are good but I think I would consider posing your kitty against a studio background or related. The background here is a tad busy, and they seem to make the shots come out at tad bit too warm (which is preferable to too cool btw). They're good shots, but just a little rough/harsh as is,.. they would be excellent in a Marlboro ad :)

Re: to nice to stay in
my setup is a nikon d200with a 18-200 VR lens. the sun was very bright. I bought a 4'x6' diffuser screen maybe I should have grabbed one of my kids to hold it.lol

Re: to nice to stay in
i really like the 1st one, and the 4th one is pretty good too.
one the 2nd and 3rd pictures, once again, the background is way too busy and that one stray branch on the ground to the right of the cat is pretty distracting
and the 2nd picture is way too warm
but i love the 1st pic, its great

Re: to nice to stay in
It would be better if you could get down even lower to shoot the photos.

Re: to nice to stay in
Pick any three (but be sure to include the first image) and you will have a nice set there. I actually think the sum is better than any one shot here but they are pretty well done.
I do agree with AgingEyes that a ground level shot would be nice but these are fine as is.
