    Walkin' Away

    Ok this is my first critique here. You all say good things or make good suggestions... I mostly shoot horses for money... so this is one of my "Other" shots. That I enjoy, sort of except hen I get frustrated, cause I can't figure out the best crop...lol... Thanks for listening now HIT ME!

    I like the way the little dude looks so small in the great big ol' world. You might want to consider cropping the picture from the bottom and possible from the left also. If you pushed up the black level a bit that would also give you better contrast.

    I do like the subject and feeling of the picture. Keep on shooting.

    How about cropping from the right until where the top of trail meet the grass, and cropping some of the sky, too? Since your title says "Walking Away", so I would use the suggested crop to move the eyes of the viewers from the left lower bottom all the way to near the top right and out of the photo. I wish the boy were closer to the top of the trail though.

    Welcome again, JDocPony.
    I'm not sure about cropping from the left or right but I'd definitly crop from the bottom most of the way up to the boy. This would immediatly grab the viewers eye and then the road would lead the eyes off.
