    Macro

Will more light let me focus closer when doing a macro shot? My manual say 2" I belive but seems to only focus around 4". I have a Canon Powershot A75 btw. Thanks for all the great comments and support on here. This is a very comfortable place. Kevin.

Is that in manual focusing mode? If it's a small object, the auto mode might not be handling the parallax right. Is that infrared focusing?

I don't belive it is infrared light, it has a red beam that you can see. Also it does not have manual focus on it I was trying to get a nickle, penny, and dime to fill the frame with all 3 coins pushed together. I am experimenting to see what my camera can do as I have only had it just over a week. I did double check my manual and it does say 2" macro.
