    Smile New to the Forum!

I am new to the forum so I thought I would start off by posting a photo that I would love to get comments on. The only way to learn is to ask questions!

Welcome to the forum. Not a bad image to start with. I actually like the softness (intentional?) and feel it helps the mood of the picture. I don't think you composed this scene from the best vantage point there. I think the tree coming up in front of the bridge hurts the image and also the angle at which we are viewing the bridge. There could be too much foreground that what would be ideal here. It looks like a beautiful scene, but I feel there is potential for much stronger compositions here.
I look forward to seeing more of your pictures.
    Glad you found us.

The softness was intentional. And that was the best angle I could get for the photo. There were other buildings around the area. But thank you for the comments. It also was taken at the Schwetzingen Gardens, Germany.

Ah, ok. Yeah, sometimes there is just not much in the way of moving around a scene. However, aside from the comments for improving the image, I think it is still very pleasing as it is.
btw, some very nice images in your site. Great shot of Piper!

hahahaha You caught me out! That is the ONLY shot on there that I did not take. My Mum snapped that when she was here visiting last summer. Just posted it there because I liked it and thought everyone might wonder what "I" looked like. I did the editing on it though. GRIN

hahaha Thanks..... it is so funny though my Mum is a horrible photographer....Most of her shots are out of focus, blurry, and just genrally bad. That is one of the only decent shots I have seen her do. :-)
Piper had just gotten out of the bath when I did that one of him as a pup. But thank you.
