    New Experiment

    This is my first experiment with water drops...I think this one is the strongest image.

    INteresting subject for sure. Your focus seems to be spot on. Timing in this type of shot is crucial and I think you did a pretty decent job of capturing the moment.

    How did you light this? Is the water red from the lighting or was it coloured.... or did you PS the colours in?

    very nice.. it has a red hot lava look about it.. what are the little square light reflections caused by..???

    Jaedon and trog,
    It was water with red food coloring in it and the drop was a blue drop of food coloring...i just put my SB-600 on the hot shoe and shot continuous 5fps. I had an extra hand with the drop, as my hands were full(i shot it handheld). And to be honest with you i just noticed the reflection...it must be the flash...and i think i will get rid of it.
