Great shot Liban! I like this much more than "the wait". The B&W works very well, even though it's not quite as contrasty as usual (is this a B&W HDR?)

I love this shot. Really makes you feel as if you are back in time.

    Where is that?

I love these kind of shots and even though the lights are very bright, they don't bother me.

Nice shot, I like the composition and the B&W treatment. Though I do find the lights on the second floor too strong and they make my eyes a little distracted from seeing the image as a whole....hope that was clear LOL.
    Great pic.

Fine image. Works great as b&w. What an interesting scene that takes us back in time, which Havana is basically like going back in time to the 40's and 50's here.
One nipik would be that although its great seeing the details i would like the brightness reduced to bring back the night feel. Seems a bit overly bright for a night scene.
Personal taste, works well as it is.
    Great work, Liban.

    Re: Old Town (B&W)

Jet, No, it's not an HDR, I just used the Shadow/Highlights to pull some detail from the dark areas. Then I converted to B&W using the channel mixer. Thanks!

Flybye, thanks. It's the old part of Havana. Habana Vieja.

Frog, I'll attach another version below this type. I fixed that light and toned the entire image down a notch. thank u

Rob, I think i took care of the lights a bit. Thanks

Gary, Good suggestion. I've attached another version below. Hopefully this will fix all the problems that the original had. Thank you.

    Dray. Thanks man.

argh, maybe a little too dark this one!

I'm just 120~ miles above them. That is awesome and I wish I was there for the picture moments. Everything there is still stuck 50 years ago. Hope you having a great trip!

A florida! well yeah, you should try and make your way there! I meet plenty of Americans there whenever I go. It's simple. go through mexico, take cash (so you won't need to use your credit cards) and voila!

Yes, I had a great time. Thank you.

    Re: Old Town (B&W)

I was trying to decide if you'd gone too dark in your first edit and voila, you answered the question with the second one. Good job.

A lot of old car collectors are drooling for the day when the USA and Cuba can trade again.

Yep, that last edit looks great. The mystery and ambiance of the dark night is there now.

    Re: Old Town (B&W)

    Thanks guys!

Canada trades with Cuba, not sure why more of those cars aren't being shipped here. Might be something else that we're not aware of. perhaps a law in Cuba prohibiting the trade of those cars? weird.
