Need your input C&C defintely encouraged

Hey guys,

A friend of my family's asked me to take some pictures of her kids to submit to a modeling agency. I had no idea what to do as I have never and most likely will never again shoot models, especially kids. But since she's a friend and in need of a hand I took a few shots.

She was told to bring some head shots as well as a few character shots of each of her girls.

So here's what I took.

Are they good enough for a Modeling Agency to get their first look at these girls?

I'd say they'll work.
Some are better than others, like the first and second ones.
The backgrounds in those two is cleaner looking, in that it either enhances the main action or doesn't detract from it.
The third, fourth and sixth ones, have a distracting element in them that take away from the the photograph, like the head in the third and the belly of the other kid.
They are just things to watch for when looking through the viewfinder.
I am sure these will all be great for your intended purpose.

I agree - I think they're fine for the purpose.

The agency is most likely looking to see how comfortable/natural they look for the camera. Typically, you want both tight and loose (full body) examples.

If they like what they see, they will sign her/them up and will schedule them to get the specific head shots that they will need.

Lastly, tell your friend not to get discouraged if things don't go exactly as planned. Sometimes the agency has too many people who look alike and want other "looks" to diversify their model base.

They look good to me. The images are casual and don't have the slick posed look. They agency should have a good idea what Kaiya's really like from these images.
