Naomi in the Warehouse [nudity]

I shot this on Sunday and I'm pretty happy with the results. I usually post B&W's here but this is one of those rare color shot's I'm happy with.
I don't have a studio, but there's an abandoned warehouse near my house... the windows on the upper level are frosted and they give a great soft light effect on the subject without illuminating anytrhing else in the room. This is the result.
Shot on Fujicolor Press 400. 50mm. Around f2.8, around 1/60. Maybe more, maybe less. Thoughts or suggestions?

I love the pose that you used here and the look that your model has. Personally, I find that the breast tends to distract from this shot a bit. I feel as though the shadows are drawing the viewer to her face and beyond, and that light bit of skin amidst it all tends to throw me off. Other then that, I love this shot.

Just my opinion... I haven't been posting on here in a while, so my eye may be a bit 'off'. ;)

I really like the image as well... Pose is fabulous, lighting great...
The ONLY thing that bugs me is the Breast as well... the light that hits it is a different color then the light on her face, thus making it distracting.

Naomi is beautiful and you have done her some good justice. I have no doubt that there is more shadow detail in the original than in this web version so I will trust her breast looks less like it is detached and floating in mid air in the real thing. I think you see in black and white though. While this is a beautiful color image and you might really like the gradations from warm to cool across her body I feel this one would have more power as a black and white. As has been noted her pose, eyes, the richness of the light are all superb but there is an unevenness about the coloring which is distracting, but would be forgiven without it. I have really enjoyed your previous black and white's that you've posted here. Thank you for sharing.

Wow Angelo! Thanks so much for the kind words! You're TOO kind... I'm gonna get performance anxiety! ;)
I wasn't really distracted by the "detached breast" at first, but I do see how it could be an issue. I've got some others from that set which are more of a single-line countour and would eliminate that argument against this shot. Perhaps something like that is more appropriate for this kind of shot.
Just a note, CL: Either you monitor is on the dark side or mine is on the light side. Because on the PS version and the web version I see here in this posting, the detail is at least present over the remainder of her torso. Is that what you're referring to? Because I can still make out the rest of her countors. It's dark, for sure, but on my monitor, at least, she's not just floating there.

Yep I can make out the detail, just. I assume that has more to do with compression and monitor calibration as you implied and and prints would communicate the shadows better but then again maybe not. Agree that a single line light contour on her from shoulder to breast would shut us all up nicely.
