    Re: Fingerpainting

Emily - I think taking photos of this is OK but I also think that the angle is very "record-shot"ish. Directly from above, or from in front of them to include some human expression, would have helped a lot. The bottom shot is pretty dark on my monitor. The top one's DOF is somewhat shallow (so's the bottom's). Not terrible shots or anything but I think you could have planned them out better here Hope this isn't too critical.

I see what you are saying about the angle and such. Thanks for your thoughts and comments on this!

Lol Veggie! Fingerpainting is a giant hit around here...

I have to confess...this is actually chocolate pudding. We had no actual fingerpaint, and everyone was beyond bored at my house, SO, with bath time coming, they painted with pudding.

Hopefully that doesn't make the pictures too gross now...hehe.

Chocolate pudding---now there's an idea for future reference. Thanks Em--when my granddaughter gets old enough, we'll keep some handy!
I'm in agreement on the angle. Perhaps shooting from below, looking up into the faces to catch the expressions as they concentrate on the work at hand?

Hehe...yeah, it's definitely a very popular type of "paint".

I'll keep the angle in mind for our next pudding session... Thanks for the comments!
