Hi bobby. I'm afraid I don't see a strong subject in your photo. Did the flowers catch your eye? I'd get closer to them if that is the case.

While different heights and textures are good in a garden, Its not so good in this composition :) I too think that this doesn't really have a subject to focus in on. Also, the color looks to be off, too much cyan. Got some debates to watch now....

    Hi Bob,

I'm afraid I do agree with Rachel and Spike on this one! The subject is a tad unclear and the whole pic is bit cluttered. The colors are also off, but that's nothing PS cannot cope with! (actually this is something I often do: I desat. the magenta and cyan channels by at least 20% to 60% - I found that it works well on most landscape shots).

On the bright side, you clearly had a good time and good weather :p !

    Cheers,

    Steph.

Sorry folks ! rather rushed this one on to the site as i was heading out fot the night. What i liked and maybe its one of those were you have to be there to see it, was the way there was colour at the front leading up through several different shades of green into a powerful blue sky. I liked it. First holiday in a year and have loads more pics to bore you all with .lol
