My perfect cup
Number four for your conseration. I'll only post my limit of five I promise.
These were all taken with my first camera a Canon G7 which I loved. I returned it in order to get a DSLR which I have yet to purchase. I'm dying without a camera, too bad I couldn't afford to keep the G7 as well.

Re: My perfect cup
Nice idea. The white balance is too warm (yellow).
Compositionally you might want to work with the arrangement of the elements, and shoot from a different elevation. A more rakish, (elements along more of a diagonal in the photo) presentation could be a stronger photograph.
I'd also consider not having the bananas in the photo and try to block the outlet with the grinder. The bottom of the cabinets at the top needs to not be in the photo as it is a distraction.
The 'lab love' cup needs to be shown in full.
You could even accentuate your reflection in the copper kettle for another component.
Looking forward to more of your photos!

Re: My perfect cup
Thank you very much for your input. I have about tem of these all with different white balances, I think it's the Vivid setting that did this one in.
I really appreciate your ideas about the composition, this is exactly the stuff I'd like to learn. Thank you, Mike
This is probably the closest one I have to your suggestions, again I have some cropping issues and probablt should have had the grinder sideways to get the reflection. I cannot wait until I get a camera in my hands again.I'm currently without. :(
Sorry for uploading both I treid fixing the white Balance and couldn't figure out how to delete a picture. I'm tired I just worked ten hours.
