My Eldest Daughter on Xmas Day
It is really hard to get good photos of the children, especially as they are growing up, but they are tending to become more co-operative as they get older as well.

I hope you all like the photo, any comments welcome.

Taken with a Canon EOS10D, 28-135 IS lens, with 550EX into umbrella and Sunpack 5000AF into umbrella. Without modelling lights it really is a hit and miss type of setup that I hope will change over the comming year to proper strobe setup. Had to get the Tarago fixed before Xmas which cost $4,500 Aus which was totally unplanned and not budgeted for.

Hope everyone had a great Xmas Day and enjoy the comming year.

i like the setup, but i think it could be better if the background and floor weren't so "back-drop'y"

maybe bringing the set forward and blurring the back, and maybe natural flooring... or maybe this setup would warrent one of those warm and cozy backdrops?

:) i do like the picture, it's just the backdrop that is bothering me...
