My Day At The Beach
Just a few snapshots while walking down/around the beach (a couple miles from my house). I haven't had much time to comment on others photographs lately, but I'll be more than glad to return the favor.
Thanks for looking.

the two middle pictures dont do anything for me the top one is cool, shows alot, but the bottom one would be better if u have a polerizer, the coloring is all blown out and faded polerize would fix this problem

They all look a little soft to me, but I think that it due to quality/scanning....
My favorite is the first one, though it is very blue... I think a quick photoshopping will take care of that blue...
The third one down is also rather nice... good framing with this one, I like the water in the background, and his shadow...
The second one seems to lack a real focul point, imo... next time, try not to cut the guy in half...
and the last one is decent... maybe a little bright, as the sky is a little blown out.
I look forward to seeing more from you, as these are some decent pics.

These are not bad. Actually, the top one is quite good, I like it alot. I think this image would be a great B&W..Try it. The third one down is also good as well of the little boy . All the foorprints around him in the sand and the fact that it looks like he is walking around makes me think all these prints are his, which is quite funny acually. Like his shadow there as well.
As far as the other two, Darkrainfall said it well about cutting the man in half and the last one being blown out a bit alot. This will happen with middle of the day bright sunlight and Youngshooters suggestion of a polarizer is a good solution, normally. But if your just using a point and shoot camera, than this is not an optin for you. good stuff

Thanks a lot for the replies..highly appreciated. I'm messing around with them in Photoshop as I type this. I'll make sure to keep the polarizer, and composition tips in mind on my next outing, too.
Thanks again.

Best image #1
Comments
#1 way too much blue in the image
#2 I don't like the guy cut in half, blurry, dull contrast
#3 A lower camera position would have made the image more interesting or something like a little shovel in the toddler's hand, colors washed out, blurry, should have gone for landscape format, toddlers chest too bright. Sand, footsteps and shadow are good ingredients for a good photograph though
#4 I don't like the compostion, there's also not enough depth in the image, no focus point, blurry,
Thanks for sharing
