Re: my beautiful....
Nice idea.
Composition may need work. The "white" window frame (or pillar/stud) on the right really hurts the shot.
It took me a while to realize the reflection was in color. Interesting.
IMO of course.

Re: my beautiful....
Very beautiful indeed. Nice use of natural lighting.
I hadn't even noticed the reflection being colour until manacsa mentioned it. In fact I didn't even notice a reflection.
One thing I have learned from being here is that, if you are going to do selective colouring, it has to be noticeable.
Here's an example http://gallery.photographyreview.com...&ppuser=246535

Yeah, me as well.
I don't think this shot will fall under a traditional portrait since you need to figure out the balance among the different factors of this shot.
1. high contrast
2. colored reflection
3. background's surrounding shapes
4. subject's profile versus looking at the camera
This is more than a portrait in my opinion since juggling all these elements is a challenge. You are composing a scene and very much worth the effort.
I hope others will provide their opinions.

I find the pose to be beautiful but the background is too much. Personally, I find it to be distracting. Her reflection in colors jumped at me right at the first place. This is quite interesting. I think that it's something that would worths experimentation, with a simplier background that is.

Re: my beautiful....
I too noticed the color reflection and the stark white post. Great idea, the color reflection but it needs more work in the composition . Try another setting/location and shoot it again. As for the girl being above you-not if she is with you she isn't.

Yes, this is noticeable, but not in your face over-saturated colour.
I like it for the subtlety, like the 6-legged racehorse in the sports forum.
I think it could be cropped at that white bar on the right, turning it into an almost square shot.
