    Please give me your input on the following photo, it was taken earlier in the week in Utah's Uinta national forest, the lighting is not the best since it was taken miday when the light was the warmest. No cropping was done to the photo, only a few adjustments in photo shop.

    Any input is appreciated,

    The colours of the shot are great. However, there is no vantage point in ths photo, thus it seems a bit bland.

    I like this photo despite the midday sun. Midday sun can work well if you choose the subject matter carefully. In your shot, nothing was burned out or buried in shadow.

    The one change I would make is to get a different angle on the road. I am amazed at how fast my eye gets dragged off the left edge. A good general rule is that the road should somehow guide the eye into the photo. This would also provide the anchor that szeto mentioned.
