Mountain range

Im not too sure about the exposure here. I thought you'd all help.

This seems to have a kind of ethereal feel to it. What's that blue section? A lake? It kind of distracts, and I'd think about cropping about 1/2 to 1 inch off the bottom. JMHO.

afdlips - Dramatic contrast alright. The colors are subdued in a nice way. I think it's a winner on those two things alone. The only negative I see with it though it lack of detail in the mtns and the area below the mtns. I think you might be better even cropping out that foreground area? Anyway, good catch and overall exposure.

thanks. I was thinking about burning in that whole bottom half. the lighting was soft at the time, so even seeing detail with my eyes was difficult.

it looks too unnatural for me. what mountains are these?.... flat irons?

I'd crop out the flat land in front of the mountain, print, and frame that puppy. Very nice indeed...

I like it as is as some of the details in the foreground peek through on my monitor adding some interest there. It looks like there are animals in the field at the base of the mountain, possibly cowes/buffalo?

I think it looks heavily processed, but I like the lighting and colours in the clouds and the blue in the foreground. I'm for keeping it as is, just cause its something different.

those are trees. lol. there is this field about a mile from this place that has grazing cows and is backed by the mountains. this is an HDR with some level tweaks.

yeah its the flatirons. this is kinda what it looked like in person...just way more contrasty
