    BMX Triptych

I have posted these images before individually in the sports section and I think I posted them here back in august in a different format...but I want to get opinions on this format and whether or not it works as a triptych or not.

    Thanks

    Jay

It is a worthy idea, a creative one too, ut I would get in closer. The area outside the reflection of the biker is all extraneous, imo. I would just crop in and see what you get!

    Re: BMX Triptych

Thaks GB and J-Dogg for the comments.

I have a version where I cropped tighter on the helmet but then I got ..."what is that reflective thingie?" ... and questions like that. So I decided to leave the shoulders of the kid wearing the helmet so it is easier to determine what it is that is doing the reflecting, without having to be told. That and I like the way the green was perfectly blurred by the DOF I chose for the shot.

J-Dogg... I happen to think that I got lucky on this on getting them clear fo rthe fact that this was only attempted once and the positioning and everything worked out perfect. There were 4 shots in the burst but #2 had the rider lost in one of the holes in the helmet.

A guy at work pointed something out to me that I never noticed until he said it.... The holes in the helmet are also placed as if they were the ramp on which the rider is doing the tricks. It always makes me happy when people notice things like that and think I did it on purpose lol.
