Moon at 7:30 PM
I saw the other moon shot and somewhat copied his title. It's not quite a full moon but the difference is hard to see. I shot this with my D50 connected to my telescope for 1000mm zoom, F10, and a shutter of 320. I cropped it a bit to remove excess black space in the photo.

I think the detail is pretty good, up to the point that you can see craters on edge, instead of a smooth circle. Let me know how you like it. :)

Re: Moon at 7:30 PM
Nice image, I would bump up the contrast a little to bring out more detail of the surface.
Cheers,

Re: Moon at 7:30 PM
I bumped it up by 10 from the original image. When looking though the telescope it is actually less contrasted than in the photo, so I didn't want to put too much contrast on it, although I did think about adding 5 more.

Re: Moon at 7:30 PM
u wont get much better.. a full moon is the most detail less.. its the shadow produced from the semi full moon with the light coming from the side that brings out the detail.. if the mountains and craters dont have the shadows u dont see them..
