    Front

Here's the "front" version of my "back" photo. The other was backstroke, this is breaststroke. Love to see what you think. D700 with 70-200mm f/2.8 @ ISO 400, f/8. 1/640.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Front

I don't think it has the same impact.
When I think of butterfly I think of the arms coming over the shoulders, streaming water, and reaching forwards for the power stroke.
This could be breast stroke, I can't tell it's butterfly.

It is breast stroke. For some reason, I wrote butterfly....

    Thanks. I'll correct the description.

    Re: Front

Not regarding whether it depicts what type of stroke the swiimer is doing, I would say this is a fine shot. Very tight ,clear and crisp and i can almost feel the cool water and smell of the chlorine as if I were there. Although the subject is centered, it works in this composition. I like the diagonal perspective of the approaching swimmer and the float line beside her.
My only offering that comes to mind here would be to slightly reduce the overall exposure of level on the upper area of the image, much like the effect of a split ND filter to keep the brightness in the upper area in check.
    Very nice.
