    Mono Lake dawn

Got a few of the slides back from my recent trip to Mono Lake. I like this shot though it really doesn't have much overall (cept the colors). Not sure what I could have done to improve it ... (?)

I really like the colors. i think the mountain range in the back on the right in the middle would make a great crop.

Wonderful colors! I wish the horizon was a little less centered, still nice shot.

    Beautiful image GB!

I really enjoy the gradation of colors and the silhouettes are lovely shapes to pit against that sky! I don't really see anything that I would change about it personally. Print it and frame it as an exemplary sunrise picture.

No if you'll excuse me I'm off to peruse these Salton Sea images of yours that I missed because I've been buried in work for too long.

Thks everyone! I almost feel the rock silhouette should instead be an elephant against an African sunset (now I'm starting to think of the African trip I keep putting off).

Here's a small crop. I made it square to see how it feels. Not sure about it but it is a little more to the point -
