    Macro Cherry Blossoms
I just haven't been all that excited about the Cherry Blossoms this year. Over time I have gotten plenty of Tidal Basin Blossom views and I'm really not up for more of the same.

So I busted out the Macro lens and walked out the back door.

    Thoughts?

MB - I think # 2 steals the show. The others have potential but might need more DOF. Whites are harder to work with than other color flowers, they seem so fragile.

Totally understand about the more of the same shots feeling. I think it's time for me to do something different myself! Trying to do the model thing now (have a shoot this weekend, I hope).

MB, Nice shots but #2 is stunning.

My one very minor crit is the out of focus petal bottom right, but I can live with it, but would prefer to loose it.

    Let's see how this works.......

I didn't like the 180 but the 90 may work.

    MB,

Not for me - some of the drops look wrong and it looses some of its elegance in the last crop and the crop is too severe for me.

Just crop a touch off the bottom of the original and it looks splendid.

I love love love #2 just the way it was. Its beautiful both ways however but looks forced when its rotated (to me) It's Dogwood time here! . :)

The original #2 was better. When you rotated it the dew looks off. some of the dew looks like its traveling up the petal. The edited shot looks forced whereas the first is more unusual in the placment of the flowers. I love how the flowers are white then then BAM theres this delecate unopened pale pale pink flower. Great Job

    That was rain!

BTW I have decided that the first #2 is the one to print and sell.
