    New Bee

I am one of the engineers for this site. Got into Photography about a month ago. You can call me Matt. The first photo I shot on a boat (Gold and Blue Fleet). Second was at a wedding wedding. I shot this with my Rebel XT, Tamron Lense XR Di2 18-200mm.

Welcome Matt! Welcome to the "other side" and it's great that you're into Photography. I'm 65 years old and just got into photography about 6 years ago. I've learned everything I know about photography on this site.

I have the Rebel XT and love it. You did a nice job here - I like the green grapes on the 2nd one. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work as you and your camera grow together.

BTW, thanks for doing a great engineering job.

Welcome abord. I like the second one too. You might try plant shots better on a cloudy day. That way you don't have the harsh shadows. I have even blocked the sun on some flower shots or just waited until the sun went behind a cloud. Do you use a polarizer?

    Hey, Matt-

Welcome to the site and to photography. Kind of changes your way of thinking when the world is framed through a camera. Have fun. I have a shot of The Rock I will post. Nice job. Keep on shooting.
