Macro Abstract

I shot this macro of velcro a day or two ago.. I decided to try some layering and stuff in photoshop. The original is just black and white, pure white bg. I think adding the clouds/green huge to hook side may be a bit much as the original image seems to allow for a little more imagination.

Three horizontal bands of subject that don't seem to be related and within each band no matter where I look it is the pretty much the same.
I do think it could be used for a background or something and it is just personal of what I like to look at.
Hopefully someone will find more merit than I.

After posting, I think this needs something else, perhaps better clouds or a horizon line above the hooks. Maybe this won't work no matter what. The "clouds" seem like they won't fit in at all without a lot of adjustment

Hey, thanks for the comments anyway frog. It feels impossible to look at my own recently taken photographs with an unbiased eye.

I actually like it, its a clever idea for sure.

You could try this in a vertical format and see what happens and possibly a small person at
bottom looking up.

it's a good thing you mentioned what theis was a picture of. i probably would have took me a bit to figure it out.

i do think that it is an interesting pic because i've never seen a macro of velcro before. but, at the same time, after i've looked at it i don't feel the need to look at it again.

it's definitely a good idea though.
