    Machine Head

Had a few minutes with my daughters Oly E500 and came up with this abstractish effort.
Should have given them a bit of a shine but then who would not wish to see my thumb print?
    Anyone like it?

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

I like the stark look with the high contrast. It took me a second to realize that this wasn't two pictures put together until it dawned on me that these are tuning pegs for some stringed instrument. Nice shot.

Tom, this is a very interesting composition you came up with. I too like the stark contrast. The highlighted reflection off the side of the headstok seem to cut the picture, and can lead to believe it is two images side by side. I like it after i realized exactly what i was looking at. I think it might have worked even better if you included the top of the headstock so as to make the image a little more readily understood. . .or maybe not.
It seems a bit awkward, but intriguing nonetheless.

I like the thumb print on it. The composition is good here. I also like the lighting. As cropped it might be hard to send to print? But I still like it.

    Tom,

Strange but I responded to this picture this morning.

I like it as is and wouldn't change a thing. Got it immediately and love the print.
