    Interesting. I'm thinking this's a studio shot and so sharpness, exposure, lighting should be spot on. Composition-wise I think I would try a tighter crop. As is it seems to be too much room for me.

    I would have cropped less. Especially towards the top. I would have also used a white reflector under head to open up that shadow cast on her nose and under her lip. Both of these are more of a preference then anything.

    Did you use tungsten lighting by chance to get the shallow depth of field? I like the 40's type glamor lighting and effort. Very nicely done.

    I really like this. Perhaps one of the better ones I've seen lately. You have just the right sharpness around the face, yet softer elsewhere to give it a dreamy look. If I were to suggest anything, it would be to brighten the eyes just a smidgen.

    strobes were used.. no tungsten

    yes I was trying to mimic that old 40s style hollywood portraits.

    I like the composition and everything overall, but it does seem like the eyes are not quite in full focus. But they are damned close.
