Love on the rocks.

It is interesting and putting the red thing,(folding chair?), in there gives a focal point.
I think it would be better with a wider view.

Folding chair? I like the roses. I like the framing... I would just bump the exposure by a 1/3 or 1/2 stop to brighten it up a bit more and either add more saturation or selectively colour the roses as teh surrent colour saturation is a bit flat for my tastes.

I like #2 best, but the lighting on the both are great. You picked the perfect time of day to shot.

#1 for me works better because I don't expect the roses there. For some reason I do fint it a little morbid, like it is a burial site or something.
Seem though like the focus is on the rock behind the roses instead of on the roses

i totally got the morbid feeling.

I won't even try to explain my folding chair comment. Must have been those mushrooms I ate in the 60s :blush2:

I just found them next to the rocks at the lake.

The first shot is good in it's framing , exposure, and lighting/mood. My only problem, and I can symphathize with frog folding chair comment, is that the bunched roses are a little difficult to identify easily. I think the shot would have been alot stronger with one rose on the rock,as it would be clear as to what it is and the overall aesthetic would be simpler and stronger. good find

# 2 is best because the light cooperated. I also really like the creativity of it. The only part that wish was better was the background -- too bad there's not a city or something to say something like "Love this way."

Of course, might be possible with PS ....
