Excellant sky, nice illumination. The trees and building geometry are excellant in the way that they both form a staircase and also present a horizontal line across the bottom. A little dark on the sides. The only real problem I see with the photo, however, is that somehow the subject just doesn't live up to the dramatic lighting and geometry. Just a slight letdown, I feel. But I guess it isn't easy to get everything in one shot either

I feel the intensity of the saturation and the lighitng creates a powerful impactful visual here. The perspectives are strong and leading up to the electrifying sky. I agree with GB about being a little dark around the edges, but then again it creates a strong frame for this electricity.

    Thanks,
A Nikon Circular polar II filter was used.
Do the dark edges have anything to do with the /F-stop chosen? Is this called vingetting? Also I plan on doing some lense correction exercises with my new Nikon Capture NX software. If i find time.
I have see examples @ 10mm where the buildings are totally perpendicular after corrections. I have alot of 10mm captures in that the buildings tilt dramatically inwards at the edges. Is this called chromatic abreviation/distortion ? only at extream wide angles...Right ?
    I'm here to learn.
