    Pon-etry in Motion

One of the ponies was romping around the paddock getting herself all muddy, so I snapped a few shots. I was trying to pan with her in this one and shot off-center, hence the tail being cut off. I tried to crop in a bit. I'm thinking that maybe a tighter crop... focusing on the head, neck, and front legs might be better?

Nice action shot. I like the movement in the mane and the stretch of the legs. I think you are right about the crop - you dont want to get too much of the belly/back or it feels overbalanced but I think its best with at least all of the mane. One problem I think you have is the lighting which seems to be blue light from the sky. I think warming it and removing the colorcast helps a lot.
