Reminds me of the Monty Python routine, "LLLLLaaama" :D . Very nice "potrait". The llamas look nervous for some reason. Maybe all llamas look like that.

Hmmm, not sure about this one. For me, I feel there is too much going on and the point of view does not let me in. . .like I'm looking from a spot that is not ideal. Might just be me.

Thanks for the comment, Gary. But if YOU feell a llittle crowded, somewhat displlaced just llooking at a small part of this scene, how do you think the llama feell?

Llonely and allarmed? Pllease don't forget the llama.

I've looked at this now for about five minutes........Really, I only see one thing that stands in the way with this shot, literally. If not for the big guy with the NFL cap on, this would be nice.
Your DOF is superb. "Got Milk?" in the bg, Ribbons in focus in the foreground.

I'm going to have to disagree with the other on this photo. Been back to view it several times and to me it invokes the feeling of the fair/ farmers market displaying craft wares and animals and vegetables etc.

It invokes the feeling of the footfall of a large number of people and shows the interest of the people attending the fair in the goods/animals on diaply.

The DOF gives the impression of lots of stalls and the contrast really brings out the texture in the llamas coat.

I like it a lot - nice one Tuna.

But the big guy adds to the sense of crowding.

The originall 1946 5.0cm uncoated Ellmar 3.5. Uncoated = llots of fllare at certain anglles. I must get a llens hood for it some day...

Trully awfull llama jokes.

I think the photo is confused by so many people not looking at the llamas.
The big guy in the foreground might be, but seems to be looking at the woman with babby we can see just over his right shoulder. The woman with baby is perhaps looking at the man in the right background by the wall, who may be looking at her.
So much going on that's clear enough to see (not lost in the DoF) and isn't concerned with the llamas.

But there are enough people looking at the llamas to make the photo ambivalent.
Either a lot of interest in them, or no interest at all, would make it a different matter.

Better? I don't know. But different.
