    "Little ship of dreams"

The grass was moving in a stiff wind, storm drops were falling, and amidst the panic to get OUT of the rice fields, before water rose so high we'd be wading-or worse, this came into view, and I said "Right, just might be worth swimming..."

This could have been a very restful image. You know what I am going to say though: that piece of out of focus grass obscuring the "boat" is a real problem.

    Thanks Mike,
-for taking the time to respond-it was a case of not admitting I had not got the shot !

Looking at it I just want to tilt the whole image to the right a bit.

And move just a tad to the right to get that leaf/grass out of the way.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Will try a tilt, but think its beyond hope-thanks,MB1.
Grass and boat were both moving,I was standing on a one foot wide bit of new mud path, very iffy. Will try again, same place, tomorrow.
This one seemed too close and not enough going on..what do you guys think ?

This one is MUCH better. Perhaps it doesn't have as much potential as the first image but it doesn't have as much wrong with it either.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: "Little ship of dreams"

susaan - I like the color of the original shot but agree that the blade of grass, though an interesting discussion topic, interferes in the end. The second post is much cleaner and also very nice. It doesn't have the nice color that # 1 has, but it works better overall IMO. Good post
