    Re: factory

I like the composition but would crop out the dark bit on the right and try and bring up a bit more in the shadows to see some more of the details.

What type of factory and what am I looking at?

Might have been better with a super wide angle lens, to get more of the top in the pic.

Realy like this shot and the use of the wide angle. I haven't had a chance to use a wide angle yet so no 2 cents to ad, just wanted to share the fact that I've returned to this one a few times. Would be curious to see what others you might have from this series!?

    Cheers

    Re: factory

Interesting pic, and I don't think the shadows need to be adjusted, atleast on my monitor. The one that I do find is distracting, is the light on the left third of the picture. That kind of 'spoils' the whole mysterious, dark affect. Though, it probably added good lighting to this picture, it is distracting and hopefully could be avoided if you do a reshoot!

    Re: factory

eh, the focus of this role was more a moody night time set so, there were literally only 4 shots taken from the factory. but ill throw in 2 of the three (the other had some camera shake as this was all taken by hand).

thanks jar e for the advice, i completely see what you are saying and will watch out for that next time! as i will certainly be going back(just not sure when as last time i was kicked out!)

i decided just to through in a few shots from the rest of the role. our project is called 'blue lights' or something like that. we are to take shots at night of 'solitary' settings and what not. then we are going to put prints in blue toner. which i have never done so we'll see
