    Lighthouse no.2

The same lighthouse from a different angle. I feel that the exposure of this one was better to begin with. There's been no post processing beside a minor contrast adjustment.

    Comments are welcome.

Interesting shot, Seb...I like the abstract-ness here. Couple thoughts...I wouldn't have necessarily known this was a lighthouse, but I'm not sure that really matters so much. I like the sky and the texture you can see in the lighthouse, but the one thing I might suggest is perhaps that the round part, or half-circle be a bit darker compared to the rest of the photo, to contrast more with the sky.

Still and all, quite a cool shot!

Seb - I'd up the contrast on it significantly and see how (more) abstract it gets. Nice cropping.

Interesting perspective, we could be looking off the end of a space ship.

Emily: Thank you for your suggestion.

GB: I believe that it wouldn't be too long before the highlights gets significantly blown out if I were to further push the contrast but it can't hurt to give it a try. Thanks.

Jim: I agree that it could pretty much be anything! Thanks.

I really like this one Seb. Though I agree I wished there were a bit more contrast as in a deeper blue sky. But that's just a nitpick. I love these sort of geometric, abstracty shots. Your composition is also right on.
