    Light & Ivory

I have been working on this. Hopefully it shows some improvements, but what can help more?

    Re: Light & Ivory

Looks like expensive toys for still life, long exposure experimentation; Ivory and Laser pens, wow!

You've executed the shot pretty well, the focus is good, I like the swirl of the light trails. The color cast overall could be warmed a little to show off the ivory statue, right now it reads pink/purple and I personally expect a warmer, whiter color from ivory, just my two cents.

As a concept I think it comes across as experimental, not art so much as a 'What can I do with the camera?' exercise which is excellent! Keep up the experimenting and art will follow!!!

Thanks for the comments. You are absolutely correct, its experimental.
I agree on the colors too.

And, I used a novelty key chain piggy light, you know, it lights up to help show you the keyhole. So I also need to experiment with different light sources. I want to try sparklers next.
